Driven by a pursuit of investing in the most durable, high return on capital opportunities available to us, we may occasionally find compelling opportunities to invest in public equity markets.

We view these passive investments into publicly listed securities in much the same way we would evaluate a private market transaction – as long term business owners.

However, because capital allocation decisions are taken out of our hands in such cases, we demand competent, high integrity, shareholder friendly management with well-aligned incentives as stewards of our capital.

Aside from the distinction of managerial control, our investment criteria across both private and public markets remains the same.
